Our Standard Delivery

1. What is my order ID?

Your order ID begins with # and contains 9 digits. 

2. I want to return my order to you. How do I got about doing this (UK)?

You can return any item back to us using the free pre-paid label provided with your order.
In case you didn't receive the prepaid return label, let us know and we will email one to you that can be printed out.

Included in your return should be your details (such as your 9-digit order ID, email address, full name, etc..). This would make processing the return as fast as possible.

4. I bought the wrong item. Can I send it back for a replacement?

Our system doesn't support direct exchange due to price differences.
You can send the wrong item(s) back to us for a refund and/or re-order the correct item(s) you require.

5. I'm not based within the UK. Can I get it 20% cheaper because there's no VAT?
All our items sold on "drmem" within UK include a VAT rate of 20%. At the same time, all of our items are offered to internal customers at the same price. That means effectively we are charging EU and internal customers 20% more than UK customers. This information is also stated clearly on our invoices, "all prices for purchases outside the United Kingdom are VAT exempt and there would be no further reductions on prices indicated".
6. The hard drive I purchased isn't being recognised my computer

1. Make sure your HDD is securely plugged in.
2. Open the Disk Management tool. To do so, press Windows Key + R, type "diskmgmt.msc" into the Run dialog, and press Enter. You should see your Hard drive listed in the "Disk Management" window.
3. The second drive should be listed as "Disk 1". Right-click where it says "Disk 1" and click "initialise." This should force the hard drive to show up.
4. Now create and new volume and format the hard drive.

7. I ordered an item from you it still hasn't arrived (international)

It normally takes 5-10 days to reach international customer, but our experience is that it may take a bit longer in some cases.
Please wait until 20 working days from your purchase date. We are not able to open a case with the post office before this date.
Let us know if it is not with you by then and we will sort it out for you. 

8. I ordered an item from you but it still hasn't arrived (UK)

It normally takes 2-3 days to reach our customers, but our experience is that it may take a bit longer in some cases.
Please wait till 7 working days from your purchase date. We are not able to open a case with the post office before this date.
Let us know if it is not with you by then and we will sort it out for you.

9. Do you know when you will be getting more stock in?

For our memory and hard drives, we cannot guarantee the date of when they will be next available.

10. I ordered some memory from you but it is not working?

Please follow the following steps:
1- Clean the contacts of the memory you have received with alcohol and then
2- try the memory one at a time on its own

This will tell you if one or both does not work.

11. I bought some ECC Unbuffered memory off you but it does not work
Please note, this type of memory is not compatible with most Desktop computers. Most of the time it only works with servers.
12. I bought some ECC Registered memory off you but it does not work

Please note, this type of memory is not compatible Desktop computers.
Most of the time it only works with servers.

13. Do your hard drives come with Windows installed?

No, all the hard drives we sell are fully wiped and formatted.

14. Are your hard drives tested?

All hard drives we sell are extensively tested.
Any HDD you receive from us should have no sector, health or noise issues.
